FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions:
How Do I Clean & Care for Polymer Clay Earrings?
- Polymer clay is a plastic based clay and is very durable but not indestructible. It is important that you handle your earrings and keychains with care, do not bend or twist your earrings, avoid dropping, handling with force etc
- Polymer clay bakes in heat, so please keep your earrings in a cool place
- Avoid contact with perfume and makeup
- Clean your earrings by gently wiping with a damp cloth, a baby wipe or a lint free jewellery cloth
- Do not shower, swim or sleep in your earrings to avoid damage and ensure they last as long as possible
What Metals Do You Use With Tasha Rose Clay Earrings?
- All shepherds earring hooks are nickel free silver. All other findings (posts, ball studs, huggies etc) are stainless steel. I am more than happy to switch out the metal for one that will suit your ear sensitivity, or even use clip on attachments for those without pierced ears. Just leave me a note at checkout and I will accommodate you!
Are Tasha Rose Clay Earrings Heavy?
- Nope! Not at all. They are very lightweight and it is easy to forget you're even wearing earrings! This applies to bigger statement earrings as well
Do You Offer Wholesale?
- Yes I do! For wholesale inquiries please email me at tasharoseclay@gmail.com
How Do I Clean My Clay Cutters?
- Clean with a damp cloth or cold water
- Tasha Rose Clay cutters are made from a material that will melt or warp at high heats, so do not expose to heat, clean with hot water or put in your dishwasher
How Do I Use My Clay Cutters?
- Roll your clay to stick to your tile before use (this will help the clay to stay on the tile instead of sticking to the cutter)
- Dip the cutter in water or cornstarch before use to avoid clay sticking to cutter - this is highly recommended for micro cutters or cutters with any kind of indent or detail
